Harbor Island Sea Turtle Project, Inc.

Loggerhead sea turtles nest and hatch from May through October and are the turtles most often seen on our beach. Each May, females return to the beaches where they were born after long migrations. They lay 3–5 nests in a season, then rest for 2–3 years before nesting again. 

Your gift helps veteran families stay close to care at no cost to them — covering lodging, meals, and daily support while a loved one receives treatment at the Charleston VA Medical Center.
