 Welcome! We’re excited to host you and want your arrival to be smooth and stress-free.

📍 Arrival

  • Address: 7 Nautical Watch Way, St Helena Island, SC 29920
  • Please use GPS/Google Maps for the most accurate directions.
  • Park only in designated parking areas

🔐 Entry Instructions

  • This home uses a keyless entry.
  • Door code: You’ll received your code from Tidewatch Vacations.
  • Enter the code, then press the ✔️ / unlock button to open the door.
  • The door locks automatically after an hour — please double-check when leaving.

🏠 Once Inside

  • Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the home.
  • Wi-Fi information is posted
  • Thermostat, appliances, and house rules are outlined in the Welcome Guide.

🍳 Kitchen Note (Important)

  • This home has an induction stove.
  • Please use induction-compatible cookware only (provided).
  • If the stove doesn’t turn on, it usually means the pan is not compatible.

🧳 Luggage & Supplies

  • Starter supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap) are provided.
  • For longer stays, guests may need to replenish supplies.Walmart is the closest store. There is also a Publix and Harris Teeter. All are located on Lady's Island and you passed them on the way to the house.
  • Luggage racks are available in the primary and queen bedrooms

📞 During Your Stay

  • If you have any issues or questions, message Tidewatch Vacations through the platform.
  • For emergencies, always call 911 first.

🌙 First-Night Tips

  • Harbor Island is Extremely safe, however, it should always be a habit to lock all doors on the house and cars when settling in.
  • Be mindful of quiet hours starting at 10:00 PM.
  • Enjoy the island, relax, and make yourself at home!


 There are two Fire Extinguishers.

  • One is located on the rink uner the kitchen sink
  • The other is located on the left side under the house by the back stairs entry door.

There is a First Aid Kit located under the kitchen sink


To ensure a safe, relaxing stay for everyone, please review and follow these house rules:

👥 Occupancy

  • Only registered guests are permitted on the property.
  • Maximum occupancy must be respected at all times.
  • No parties, events, or large gatherings.

🚭 Smoking & Substances

  • No smoking or vaping inside the home.
  • If smoking outdoors, please dispose of materials properly.
  • Any evidence of smoking indoors will result in an additional cleaning fee.

🐾 Pets

  • Dogs Only up to 50 lbs.
  • Please keep dogs leashed at all times outside the house.
  • Please clean up all pet waste!

🔥 Safety

  • Do not move or disable smoke detectors or safety devices.
  • Candles, fireworks, and open flames are not permitted.
  • Never leave cooking unattended — especially with the induction cooktop.
  • DO NOT GRILL UNDER THE HOUSE OR ON FRONT OR REAR DECK

🍳 Kitchen & Appliances

  • Use only induction-compatible cookware on the stove.
  • Please clean up after use and load the dishwasher before departure.
  • Report any appliance issues promptly so we can address them.

🛏️ Furniture & Linens

  • Please do not move furniture.
  • Towels and linens are for indoor use only — no beach use unless provided separately.
  • Makeup, self-tanner, and hair dye can stain linens; guests are responsible for damage.

🗑️ Trash & Recycling

  • Dispose of trash in the designated bin located under the front stairs.
  • Follow local guidelines for recycling.
  • Please take trash out before checkout to avoid odors or pests.

🌊 Beach & Outdoor Areas

  • Rinse off sand before entering the home. There is a hose located by the back stairs. please be sure to turn after the water fter each use. water will spray from the hose hook up when you turn off the water. This is normal and is just the back flow preventer doing its job.
  • Secure all doors and windows when leaving.
  • Do not leave outdoor items unsecured during high winds.

🚫 Damage & Loss

  • Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Please report issues immediately — accidents happen, and early notice helps!

❤️ Be a Good Neighbor

  • Treat the home with care, as if it were your own.
  • Respect the community, wildlife, and surroundings.


 Parking is available in the driveway / under the house on the left side and at designated areas around the island.

Do not block neighbors, fire lanes, or driveways.

Do not park in the street. Security will cite you for this.


 We want you to fully enjoy the beach during your stay!

Beach equipment for guest use:

Beach chairs, a beach cart and a beach umbrella are provided and located in the double-door closet for your convenience.

Important:

Please rinse or shake off all sand before returning chairs and the umbrella to the closet to help us keep the home clean for future guests.

Nearest beach access points:

• Beach Access #1 – This is the closest walkable access point. Come out of Nautical Watch, Make a right and follow the road to the beach access point at the end of the condos and before the pleican houses.

Parking:

Parking areas are available at both Beach Access #1 and Beach Access #4 if you prefer to drive.

Helpful tip:

A quick foot rinse at the outdoor spigot near the back stairs before coming inside helps keep sand out of the home.Please make sure you turn the water after after each use.


 The private Nautical Watch Pool is located a few houses down on the right.

To Open Nautical Watch Pool Gate

Unlocking instructions are posted on the gate. 

1. Firmly press the “C” button.

2. Enter numeric code. Firmly pressing each button.

3. GENTLY turn the handle and pull.

4. Repeat steps 1-3 if gate does not open, being sure to firmly press each button until it makes contact with the base of the lock.

o Do not force the handle, shake or tug on the gate or handle.

o If the handle is turned so the bottom is pointing toward the ground, move the handle back to the correct position, parallel to the ground, and begin at step one to unlock. Gate will not open with the handle in the incorrect position.


The Main Island Pool is open to everyone. The fastest way to get there is walking across the bridge by the tennis courts. 


The closest option for quick groceries is Springtide Market & Deli, located just outside the Fripp Island gate, about 5 minutes from Harbor Island. It’s a convenient stop for essentials, snacks, wine, beer, and grab‑and‑go items.


For full grocery shopping, the nearest major stores are on Lady’s Island, about 20–25 minutes away. Publix, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, and Walmart Supercenter all sit along Sea Island Parkway and offer full selections of produce, meats, bakery items, and household supplies. 


Most visitors stop at one of these larger stores on the way onto the island, then use Springtide Market for mid‑week top‑offs. 


 Grilling is ONLY allowed on the ground level, outdoors, in the designated grilling area on the concreate pad or grass at the bottom of the back stairs away from the house .

  • Absolutely NO grilling on decks, porches, balconies, or under the house.   (This is a  fire‑safety requirement and strictly enforced.)
  • Charcoal grill only.
  • Never leave the grill unattended while lit or hot.
  • Dispose of charcoal properly:

                              Allow coals to cool completely.

  • Place and spread cooled ashes in the grass, never in the trash can or bushes.
  • Do not move the grill to any other location on the property other than the grilling area.
  • Keep children and pets away from the grill area at all times.
  • Do not place hot lids, grates, or tools on decking, railings, or outdoor furniture.
  • Clean the grill after use so the next guest can enjoy it.


 For your enjoyment, a selection of board games, pickle ball supplies and more are located in the cabinet under the living room television and  in the double door closet.

Please feel free to use them during your stay!

Before checkout, we kindly ask:

• Return all games to the cabinet

• Make sure all pieces are placed back in the boxes

• Leave them organized for the next guests

We hope you enjoy some fun and relaxation during your stay!


Harbor Island rules and regulations must be obeyed as Harbor Island does give out monetary citations for breaking the rules!

 You can fish anywhere on the beach and in designated areas on the inlets on the island. Please follow all posted rules for fishing around the island.


Important Fishing Regulations

South Carolina law requires anyone 16 years or older to have a valid South Carolina fishing license for most saltwater and freshwater fishing.

Helpful Reminders:

• Follow all South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) fishing regulations

• Be aware of size and catch limits

• Clean up after yourself. Line and hook disposal bins are located at each beach access at the beach. Do not leave trash or fishing equipment on the beach.

Before leaving please:

Required:

TURN OFF WATER TO HOSE BY BACK STAIRS IF YOU USED THE HOSE

• Make sure all TV Remotes are in each room

• Place used towels in bathroom or laundry area

• Throw trash in designated bin

• Place dirty utensils and dishes in dishwasher

• Turn off lights both inside an out

• Lock all doors and windows

• Return keys (if applicable)

Do NOT:

• Strip beds (our cleaners prefer to do this)

• Start laundry unless requested

Departure:

• Press lock button when leaving
